FYI. PortableApps.com Platform 16.1: RTL language support, compiler, fixes, translation updates

This update adds support for RTL languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi), updates the Delphi compiler to the current 13.3.3 release, adds a fix for the upgrade process bug causing update issues for some users, and has numerous locale updates. New in 17.0 (and 17.0.1)
This release updates to the latest Delphi 10.4 Update 2 compiler for improved stability. Partial Windows 2000 support has been added for users on old PCs. Mouse wheel scrolling of the menu has been greatly improved and will now respect the system mouse wheel settings. Platform install size has been reduced by 30% to just 8.5MB.

Additional details on your current system have been added to the About box, making it easier to tell when your system is running 32-bit vs 64-bit or what build of Windows 10 you're using. Ctrl-Backspace to clear the search box has been added. Fixes for hiding desktop icons and system tray issues have been made. New in 18.0
The app store can now list 64-bit-only apps in addition to our standard dual mode apps (see the Options window) and will be adding in .NET apps that support either versions 3 and 4 or versions 3.5 and 4. These apps will work on Windows 7 and later out of the box. The app store loads 5x to 10x faster thanks to a partial rewrite. The compiler has been updated to the latest version of Delphi for performance and stability improvements. 35 locales have been fully updated and support for Kurdish has been added to the platform. The Start process now has better checks for TEMP directory issues, Bosnian language support has been added to the platform, multiple languages have been added to the platform installer and multiple locales have been updated. An issue preventing RTL display of some strings in the installer has been fixed. And the installer has been improved to set the platform to the user's selected installer even for languages that don't have an official Language Code. This patch release improves on the new .Net support, locale updates and more in 21.2. This release fixes an issue with .NET errors occurring for apps on un-upgraded Windows 8.0 machines and Windows 7 machines without the MS Platform Update installed. FYI. How to upgrade the platform manually to fix issues with connectity and corruption

Some users have had issues here and there when upgrading the PortableApps.com Platform. Most recently when the platform switched to https-only connections before we added in the ability to fall back to http on some machines. If you've come across an issue, you can manually upgrade the PortableApps.com Platform which should fix most of your issues. Our apologies for the folks affected. And if you're still having issues after doing a manual upgrade, please let us know by posting in the PortableApps.com Platform support forum.
