I want to tackle this subject over the weekend. Anyone here have a password mgr they recommend on 100 % linux that is portable? I use a ton of machines so I just want to carry a usb to transfer the file among the various machines, which are not all in the same physical location. They are a dime a dozen on Windows. Hate Windows, as you all know.

I am sure you know abou keepass and the portable version.

I can‘t recall having any trouble with it in the past.

There are hardware based passwort managers like the mooltipass.

I‘ve been using one for several months now and it is working very well for me. I use it on Linux systems and Qubes only.
I have lots of passwords and I often switch between laptops. For me the mooltipass has been a good investment, I am already used to it and glad that I don't have to think about passwords on different or public/work computers anymore. It does work with smartphones as well but I did not try it out yet. I am not a huge smartphone user.

    These would be my recommendations.

Called in today. Thought I would be off and free, oh well. So, have you used the new KeePass using linux portable? The older versions never supported Linux in portable.
