By an online check,Port 514 was checked as open.
Looked it up and Port Explorer came up with: "SHELL-Automatic Process Execution, cmd,RAT:RPC Backdoor,Whacky"
May I close this Port and how to do that.
    Thanks

Hi Bolleke, if you use Port Explorer you can see which application is using it. I have it for instance on my netcard process and the information manager belonging to it: the one from localhost port 514 to remote localhost port 0, the other the opposite, so no real outside connections and no traffic on them, so i let it be. At the ShielpsUp! pages they're completely stealthed. You could kill the application using it if a suspicious application and see if you can still access internet without pronlems. After a next reboot it should be back if it belongs there.
Or you can block it from outside traffic in the firewall.
Can be your dialer too, btw.
