Hello, i have a Belkin F5D7231-4P, while doing the firewall test it showed only port 113 as not stealth...it was showing as Closed.
I use my Router firewall along with PC software firewall.

What is the SAFEST thing for me to do?
should i Forward this port (TCP or UDP or both) to a unused IP such as 192.168.2.100? (tested and firewall test showed as all stealth)
Or should i just leave it as closed?

Im only asking because im not sure that if i forward to a unused IP, if this puts me at risk from hackers because i opened a hole in my router?

    Hi Crazed, Welcome to Wilders,

If you feel better with a "Stealthed" PC, then port forward to an unused IP as you have mentioned. This will not put you at risk. I have always done this myself, more out of habit than anything else, without problem.

I Personally forward both TCP and UDP on port 113.
