Popular Chrome extensions hijacked by hackers in widespread cyberattack — 3.2 million at risk

    This is completely nuts, keep in mind, these weren't new extensions, but these were trusted extensions that were simply modified/hijacked. The Chrome Web Store is pretty much a joke, let's face it. And even worse, why don't Chromium browsers allow you to disable auto-update of extensions? :gack:
