Im using oldie but goldie Gmail Notifier Pro It's like stripped down version of Thunderbird. One of the best software(s) i've been using ever. If there's a similar software for Linux(Thunderbird is not an option) and my steam games works flawlessly with Linux, then im ready to install Linux to my daily driver OS. Tho, the latest version Gmail Notifier Pro is from 2017, which might pose some security dilemmas (certificates etc).
