    A post in Poll-2 reminded me. Would be nice to have statistics on this.

    A DVD restore poll will be informative as would restores from removable drives.

    Also restores to a different partition would yield different results.

    Perhaps much too complicated to set up, but the poll would be much more useful.

    I've used v10 on 3 systems and have never had a failure......yet :).

    Hello,

    Restore failure from what? Please forgive my ignorance, I have version8 (never felt a need to upgrade), which I made a restore disk, this is only what I use,.. , never once have I had a problem.

    Could you please be more specific in the question?

    Hi Stem,

    You are far from being ignorant as anyone that has read your posts will know. By specific are you referring to the choice of media ?

    I've never had a failure with an external drive - and I appreciate that the survey could look totally different if it separated external drives from recovery based on people who only tried using cds.
