I am very sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I hope you will find some comfort in the thought your friend has now found true peace. My prayers are for you, the family and all the loved ones left behind.

Thank you for the reminder to show those we love that we do indeed both love them and value the time we have to share with them.

    Please take care.

Gordan I'm so sadden for your loss. I think this poem kind of says what you were saying. You and your friend's family are in our prayers

    Too True, Too Often

    Too often we don't realize
What we have until it is gone
Too often we wait too late to say
    "I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts
    And we allow foolish things
    To tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
    Unimportant things into our minds
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you
Take that time to say the words
    Before your time is through.

    Be sure that you appreciate
    Everything you've got
And be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend!indeed I will hug each and every person that means alot to me and tell them I love them.A friend of many years,of mine passed away a couple of weeks ago, this person was young and hadnt even been sick and had a stroke and died, and i was so glad I had told them how much they meant to me the last time i seen them.We should all live our life as if it's our last day on earth, because it very well could be.My prayers go out to your friends family, and to you that you will find comfort at this difficult time.
    with deepest sympathy
    Rita

I'm so sorry about your friend Larry. You are so right about hugging your loved ones and telling them you love 'em. BTW: I love your avatar! Every cat I ever had just loved Christmas trees and especially the ribbon on the packages underneath.

i dont know if this means much, but my Mum and i dont ever say *i love you* too each other. but, we once had a conversation about it, and we both agreed that it made no difference, as we both know that we do, and that's what counts most. :) not trying to disagree with anyone, its just something to think about.
