    Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum and I am from Albania, and excuse me I ask for written England language.

I have a problem with Internet speeds for Kaspersky Kis/Kav and Pure.
Every time I exit kaspersky,my internet speed is normal ok,and when kaspersky is working, internet speed is very slow, and when I do disable Web Protectin my Speed is normal.

    Please Can Halp me.

    Hello,

Do you have any other security or anti virus programs installed too? Kaspersky can be quite picky and wants to be the only such program on the computer.

Yes, I agree with SweX, and more so in the light of the whole pre-release testing of Immunet Protect being conducted via Wilders. Its an open party, all aboard.

If that is true then very soon we will not have anything to discuss at Wilders, don't you think?

    Thanks.

I'm coming to understand this as a fairly widespread issue with the Kaspersky AV/IS products.
Unfortunately I'm not aware of a fix, only the workaround you mentioned.
One benefit to posting at the official Kaspersky forums is that you can have your GSI log analyzed by competent people who might just be able to nail down the cause of your slow surfing speeds.
    Good luck.

hey this is a place where people only communicate in English ...:D :D
KIS KAV or PURE may slow down a little in the beginning but as soon as the soft is used to the machine it will get along well. maybe you have a slow internet or your machine is too slow

@PagjumsiA: Did you configured your Internet Zone properly? I mean trusted or untrusted?

Since you are using Windows 7, are you also using version 9.0.0.736 of KIS? It is the only version of KIS that is Windows 7-compatible.

You should use the very latest build which you can download from www.kaspersky.com -> Download -> Product updates section.

Make sure Windows Defender , which is built into Windows 7 is not enabled.

If you still have problems , if you can't find a sollution and insist on using Kaspersky , you should know and the Web AV protection (web scanner) is not that important . You may reinstall the Kaspersky product , do a custom installation and not install the WEB AV component .

    You'll still be protected.

    Greetings from Montenegro.
Go to Settings>Web Antivirus>Settings>Limit fragment buffering time 60
Change value from 60 to 1.

    Enjoy and respect

You can post your question in Kaspersky forum, with a GSI log.

No ones told him that. It only makes sense really to use the vendors forum, although he may get help from the many Kaspersky users here. I imagine Don Pelotas is still active on the Kaspersky forum and was a big help to Kaspersky users here as well.

Then I suggest you check post number 2 in this thread:rolleyes:

Now though, since no one has been able to help him here at Wilders unfortunately, the KL forums might be a better place after all. But I didn't like that someone suggested the KL forums right away to a new member that's all;)

Checked it. OP was told to check vendors forum, a logical first step. The phrasing could have been different, but I'm sure no harm was intended.

Yes it makes sense to ask for support at the vendors forum of course!
But my point was that he didn't become a Wilders member to be aksed to leave right away;)

Anyway let's stop this discussion and start helping the OP with the problem instead, if someone is able to of course:)

Well seeing as ESET's forum is here, it makes sense threads in ESET's forum usually contain ESET problems.
Evidently, he has not solved the problem here and the user you quoted is trying to help by directing the user to more specific help, perhaps where there are a greater number of experienced helpers rather than people talking about where to post, which is really not helping solve the issue.

PagjumsiA Kaspersky Internet Security is so complete protection, that you can easy disable real time "Web-Protection" or "Web-Shield" without compromise security. This should fix your problem.

You do not need it in all other AVs as well, in my opinion.
