Please, I need help!

I got infected with a keylogger and I want to know, if it's possible to find where it came from. I got a strong suspicion but I need a way to confirm if the files I'm thinking about are the ones responsible for the infection. I saved the suspicious emails in case it can be done. Is there a way to check them for hidden keyloggers? The first email had a pic to download, but I just clicked on view instead of download. The other one contained MP3 files and I also clicked on listen instead of download. I use gmail.
I just want to confirm that the person who sent me those emails is spying on me, but I need proof so I can confront him.

you can submit them (files not emails) to virustotal service and see what they come up with
also if you suspect malware is still active ask for more help at one of the sites listed
