Please help with new version of spyware

I would like to download the newest version. I have the 2.6.1 now. Please tell me exactly what to do. Do I uninstall the old version from the add/remove programs? Do I need to click on the remove protection for unchecked itmes first before I uninstall?

In words of javacool , the developer regarding upgrading over the existing or uninstalling and full reinstallation

and in case of uninstallation, do remove all protections after unchecking the items. Then have a full clean installation of the new Spywareblaster. Do read the FAQ in the page http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html and you can get the download link too
