I am so frustrated again! I was on here once before for this problem, and you guys helped me fix it somehow (still so appreciative :) ) Anyway, here is my problem again:

I can't search for anything using any search engines. When I type in what I want to search for, tons of ads, etc. comes up instead. I don't know how it just started to happen again, as it was fixed before. I have all the Spybot, etc. programs but it's still happening.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks so much!

Yes, that's where I went for help last time, but they won't allow anymore posts on there :( I guess I understand why... I'm just frustrated and don't know what to do.

Thanks anyway, and thanks for taking time to reply..

In that post referenced above is an image link that points to a website that lists several other security websites, many of which do still process HijackThis logs. While we've stopped doing them, you can certainly go to one of those other sites to get that kind of help.

The image in that announcement links to here:

    http://www.a-sap.org/

Their "Recommended Sites" list is what I'm referring to.

Thank you, I will try them. Can they all be trusted?

To my knowledge there are no untrusted sites on their listing, though the sites noted there do vary dramatically by size and log posting volumes. The one handling the most logs is probably SpywareInfo, though ComputerCops is pretty huge, too.
