Please help me remove malware.

Hello,
I purchased ESET Smart Security 4 for my son's laptop, but he started using the machine before installing the software. Now he has a malware problem with,
"Best Malware Protection". He didn't download, or install it, but it keeps popping up. I installed ESET and ran a scan but it didn't pick it up or fix it. How do I get rid of it?

I am suspecting that your son's laptop is infecting with Rogueware.

This rogueware requires manual removal. There is no know AV product that can remove all traces and reset Windows settings.
