PLEASE HELP: Install Problems

I have been having an issue with NOD that I couldn't fix, so I decided to do a uninstall reinstall. Now, I can't get the program installed.

I keep getting the error:

NOD 32 Set up

(120) error occurred while registering the service

NOD 32MOD_WINNT_ENGLISH_STANDARD

Please help me! Presently I am using my wife's computer as I have mine unplugged from the net.

 

Have you installed new software since you're last installation of Nod, which could cause the trouble? Did you disable your other securityprograms while (un)installing? Did you cleanup after uninstalling?

 

Problem solved. I think I may have cleaned up too thoroughly after uninstall. I think the registry cleaner removed something critical. Fortunately, I backed up the clean and restored. I also think my lack of internet connection was interfering. I like to install security software with the computer unplugged from the wall. Don't think you can do that with NOD.

 

Good to hear and concerning the registrycleaning maybe the option "Show ignored entries" in JV16 is ticked. It shouldn't be.

 

No, that can't be the problem, I installed NOD plugged as well as unplugged.
