I am wondering what is good for playing DVD's throguh a DVD-rom? the software that came with it is CinePlayer, it is nice, but does it contain any bundled software with it? (IE: Spyware/adware?) - I also read that Windows Media Player can play DVD's, but I've yet to figure it out, how can you play DVD's through WMP? (Its a external drive)

In windows media player, you should have version 10 . You can just associate it with dvd to play them. it does a good job but personally I use Win dvd4, but power dvd works well also. windows media player ver.10 plays dvd's pretty well. just set file associations in this box.

I don't use WMP10, I am currently using WMP9 on Win2k, I thought v10 wouldn't run on anything below XP? - Anyways, I am wondering if anyone else has any expirence with CinePlayer?
