I have always hated Windows for not offering an automatic screen positioning option. I like to either maximize or center windows, but certain apps and even Windows Explorer don't always obey.

 

I never had that problem in Windows. Which version?

It happens once in a while on Win 8.1, certain windows will launch resized for no reason. And others will refuse to stay centered. You have this tool called AutoSizer but it doesn't always work.
