Not interested in delving very far into political implications although that's usually the first suspicion that most easily surfaces of course but I have a wishful thinking list for what it's worth.

Wouldn't it be great could the civil world in general reach a new consensus with like atomic aresenal nations to form an agreement to completely eliminate and abolish for good those worse of weapons arsenals in their entirety of the most deadliest to mass life and civilization and simply battle out conflicts via digital only confrontations but minus all the the deadly hardware.

Of course dynamite and the like are going no place but still worth a stab to encourage digital battle but without the worse of weapons only fashioned to mass destructions on large and small scale scenarios.

I know is only a pipe dream but where are all the Life Scientists who used to be the most vocal in warning against possible cataclysms. I know, they been put to pasture to keep them out of the way probably.

The bigger and more powerful these destruction capabilities become, and the means to deliver them at that, the worse the future is for mankind to advance beyond this nonsense stage which would be better if rendered obsolete.

Just one knuckle heads opinion at looking at what could be best for all in all with a world battling with computer control over their so-called adversary in this manner then the worse case scenario which cannot end at all well once begun.

Does this make any sense at all? Or is it the same old, not a chance to happen until after lighting up the world and skies with deadly consequences where learning for better advancements to help mankind could be lost.

Home users aren't affected by it much. Cybercriminals target corporations, banks, medical centers, institutions of higher education and governments - that's the biggest boatload of money. A lot of it to be made through old-fashioned extortion.

    It will only escalate.

    Petya.2017 is a wiper not a ransomware

Tuesday’s massive ransomware outbreak was, in fact, something much worse
