I opened up ports 27015-27030 (Source Dedicated Server) both UDP and TCP. I use Port Forward Port Checker to check if ports are opened properly. The port is open if Filtering Mode is disabled, but when I enable Filtering Mode port is closed !!! How should I stop Personal Firewall from blocking ports ?
Please keep it simple or give instructions of what should I press and where should I click.

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: My ESS version is 3.0.621.0

I used this to block ports 135 and 445. To do this I had to go into interactive mode which is now still switched on. If I go back to automatic mode will I lose the ability to keep these ports blocked?

Actually, I'm not sure if switching back to Automatic Mode would lose the default blocking of these ports.

    Found something, but nothing specific

You may also try switching to Automatic Mode to try and audit your security by downloading Nmap or by visiting online port scanners like GRC's Shield's Up

    Hello,

Version 4 of ESS has Automatic mode with exceptions (user-defined rules) which allows for automatic mode and keeps any rules or changes you made.

    Thank you,
    Richard
