    Greetings Everyone

If anyone is using Pegasus Mail please help with the answer to this simple question.

How does one delete read mail off the server? Hitting the delete button works for the moment but upon checking the server for new messages the same ones keep appearing.

    Thank you.

I have not used it in a while but I believe in options set it to delete mail from server when exiting program. That might not be the exact words but it is something close to it. Another setting is delete mail from server when sent to trash.

Something is wrong with this forum's server. It does not copy the complete picture but you can see the settings.

What exactly is missing from the pictures? The forum software does not edit pictures at all. What you attach is what ends up here. (You have two posts, one picture each. What is missing?)

This is strange - when we last saw the postings the second image was only partially there. We then left the forum, went somewhere else and then returned and guess what? The whole image is now displayed properly!??!! Must be our browser haveing a display problem.

LWM - Does the background of the left panel look the same on both images to you? The top one has a blue background where "Basic Settings" is highlighted and the bottom image has the "Advanced Settings" background in white.!!??!!

Sorry, I almost missed this as I read your reply before you added this question as an edit.

I looked at your images... It turns out your first image has transparent sections where white ought to be so the forum colors are showing through it.

So we don't take this thread off topic, here's more on the image discussion in the test forum:

IF YOU CHECK (preserve deleted messages until pagasus mail closes) it should delete the mail on server so they wont show up in your inbox again. Sorry I didn't remember the exact wording but it was almost close

After further checking - unfortunately it does not work after all. We still cannot clear/delete messages on the server. They just keep re-appearing.

:( Well at least we tried. Do you use any other mail program on your pop3. if so does it delete your old mail (and stay gone). If not you might have to get a setting changed from your pop server o_O
    Sorry the setting didn't work.

    Re:pegasus Mail question

We do not now or ever have used any mail client except Pegasus/pop3. Pegasus is the first client used. We have not even used Outlook or Outlook Express. We will keep searching for someone who knows Pegasus completely. BTW - the ISP suggested there was probably some setting within Pegasus to enable a deletion.

    Re:pegasus Mail question

I have been looking all over the internet trying to find the setting to delete mail off of the server. Eureka I found it. Screen shot to follow. This is supposed to be for version 3.10 but should work on all pegesus versions.
