PCWorld AV rankings using av-test.org

PCWorld came out with updated 2011 AV tests (done by av-test.org) a couple of days ago.

 

Am i blind I don't see a test results page. Looks to me as just another biased article.

If you read carefully, you will notice this:
"In order of ranking, here are the antivirus products we reviewed."

So basically, you're looking at the order of the results meaning:
1. Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2011
2. BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011
3. G-Data AntiVirus 2011
4. Kaspersky Anti-virus 2011
5. Trend Micro Titanium Antivirus Plus 2011
6. Avast Pro Antivirus 5
7. Panda Antivirus Pro 2011
8. Avira AntiVir Premium 2011
9. Eset NOD32 Antivirus 4
10. GFI Vipre Antivirus 4
11. Checkpoint ZoneAlarm Antivirus
12. Comodo Antivirus 2011 Advanced
13. Webroot Antivirus With Spysweeper 2011

Wasn't "zero-day malware" and "cleaning" always weaker points of Norton

 

Wait man!
That picture is from a previous article, dated December 27, 2010.
BUT the scores are taken directly from that article if i'm correct (I read like 5 reviews from the new one and they're the same scores)

Also remember they changed the rankings.
Some products now are higher and other ranked lower
The new ranking is posted in my previous post above!!

Norton was weak. Its new Norton Insight and SONAR 2 are excellent proactive features and very difficult to beat.

 

is what I've been trying to say ...

I believe in the test since it is made by AV-Test.org - very reputable testing organisation . The reviews are good but I am really starting to dislike the "interface part" - they talk about the interface in alsmost every product and seem to think the design is really really important , which is not that true. Their 3 main cathegories are Performance , Protection and Design ?

 

I always have said Panda AV's (I mean all of them, which includes: Panda AV, Panda IS, Panda Cloud AV, Panda Global Security) have always been very slow in the On Demand scan department

That's based on my experience

BUT

i definitely agree to the comments like pros , cons and bottom lines they have given about the products
