PC freeze for 5 minutes after downloading large rar archives

    Every time I download a large rar archive (200+mb), the PC freeze after the download is complete, the HDD light is permanent on, and I cannot do anything for the next 5 minutes.
    This does not happen when I turn real-time protection off.
    I thought that NOD32 scan archives only via the on-demand scanner...o_O
    What settings do I have to turn off in order to disable this archive scanning (realtime scanner)?

    Try disabling SFX archives in the real-time protection ThreatSense setup or setting a size limit for archives in the web protection ThreatSense setup.
