Pc Flank´s antitrojans test

TrojanHunter was the worse antitrojan in this test...detected only 133 of 256.

 

My initial reaction:

1) Not surprised by KAV's excellent showing.
2) Pleasantly surprised by Tauscan and TrojanRemover. I have not heard these products discussed that much. Maybe there should be more discussion since they both turn in excellent performance.
3) Wondering why Ewido is not on the list?
4) Too bad BOClean cannot be easily tested. It would be nice to know if either can top 94%.
5) Also it would be interesting to test with an AV running simultaneously with an AT to see what is the overal dual performance.

Ouch! I didn't notice that. Thanks for pointing it out. It would certainly explain why Ewido wasn't tested.

2002 doesn't seem like that long ago!

 

Doesn't this make one wonder as to the necessity of a AT? I have Ewido, but I wonder if it is really effective enough to buy if one has KAV for instance.
I wish BD had been in the line up.
