I've been running this for a few days now and I like it... a lot.
It is developed by Shane the original dev of Tweaking.com

I downloaded the free version. Nothing to set up apart from what you want to clean, all selectable or right-click on an item in list and select to clean it singly. Cleans a lot more items than most.
The settings cog gives you more options such as text, colour etc for program interface.

Not had any problems with it, no popups or trying to get you to select other things (such a relief)
It is extremely fast when cleaning I shall be keeping it for now.

It is called SirCleaner and can be read about and downloaded here. Screenshots at the bottom of the page.

Do you mean you find it too strong?

I haven't found that at all.

Just to note that my Malwarebytes Browser Guard (in Firefox) blocked the Free installer download here as a "May contain …" .

MBG will sometimes do that with apps that can access/modify/delete System Files.

I temporarily disabled MBG and downloaded the installer anyway; then I scanned it with both the full Malwarebytes and with Microsoft Defender.

    Both scans were clear.

I have messaged the developer so he can ask MB to whitelist it in MBG.

(I haven't installed and evaluated the cleaner yet).

At the moment I am trying various ones. I have cache history and logs in Edge, Vivaldi cache and logs and in Windows I have logs, recycle bin, snipping tool and temp files.
The 'scan now' enables you to right-click an item to see how much and what is in it before you press the clean button. Also I don't have to close my browser to clean.

Got an update through the interface just now (so quick at updating) It is now v2.2.0 and here is the changelog.

It's refreshing to see a cleaner who's developer has more imagination than to use a sweeping brush for it's desktop icon.

I'm still a bit cautious, but it appears well though through so I don't expect it to do anything unexpected.
(Well not for a tech savy user at least).

When you open settings and tick the box which says 'show all possible selections in the cleaner' close the interface and reopen it, there are hundreds and hundreds of programs it shows that it cleans (if you want to see them all)

You make it sound like it will get bloated like other cleaners. Have you been told this?

I like it plain and simple the way it is.

I will be adding more cleaning options, so the list of what it cleans will grow. Pb1 messaged me about two other cleaners to see what they are cleaning that mine doesn't and get them added in.

I have more planned as well, just saving for future updates lol I spent 3 years on this program, making it as fast as possible but also was putting so much into it I had to stop myself and say save some for later lol.

As for the setting to show ever thing it can clean. Yes thats where it shows all 2300+ things it can clean. When you start the program it actually scans all of them to see if they exist on the system and then will show the items it finds in the treeview (it doesnt scan files at startup its checking to see if certain files exist. But yes its that fast that it does it in just seconds.

The reason why I made that option to show them all was for techs like myself who want to make their own presets. Easier to make a present if every option is there. Then after I make a present I turn the option back off.

I made it easy to make a present, select the items you want in the treeview and click the little save button above it next to the drop down list. All presents are stored in a folder with the program.

I also need to get the help files I want to do made so all these things can be explained.

New version just release. Now time for bed :)

    v2.3.0 - May 21st, 2025
    Multiple tweaks and fixes.

    Small layout changes.

Major increase to the speed of deleting files.

Fixed buy now link in program

Updated time taken format in entire program to a better format instead of just showing total seconds.

Updated "Time Since Last System Restart" format to be cleaner. Before: "Time Since Last System Restart: 0 Days 1 Hr 45 Min" Now: "Time Since Last System Restart: 1 hr 45 min"

By default the program no longer unchecks items in the tree view when selecting a preset. This will allow you to choose multiple presets at once.

Added new check box to the general settings tab "Presets: Remove All Selected Items When Choosing A Preset"

Added a new button to the general settings tab "Open Presets Folder" this is for quicker access to the folder and users can delete presets.

    Added cleaning options
    "Windows Upgrade Log Files"
    "Feedback Hub Archive Log Files"
    "Diagnostic Data Viewer Database Files"
    "Windows Previous Installations"
    "Memory Crash Dumps"

I would have bought a license to support the developer if there had been a perpetual license, as I support lots of small developers. But I'm not paying an annual fee.

    Yes. :thumb:

HiBit Uninstaller and HiBit Startup Manager (for example) does more stuff for free.
I'm not telling him to not sell a Pro version, but those annual prices are not going to win many fans. At the very least, get people interested in the program first and then reconsider licensing.

I did the yearly thing mainly from the lessons I learned from when I owned tweaking and windows repair.

Sales where great at first but once someone had it that was it. Then the reason tweaking got sold off by my business partners at the time (no business partners this time, just me) was because sales dropped since no annal.

Was also a pain doing upgrades to new Major versions.

With the annual you get every version, so like now its v2 but that also means v3, v4 and so on of major version releases are included.

Funny thing is I'm not a fan of annal either lol. Almost everything is annal now, its annoying but I understand why.

This is also why I made it as easy as possible for a user to control the subscription and such right from the account dashboard on my site. Someone doesn't want the subscription can cancel it any time and its still good until the year timeframe is up. Also saves me from having to do it manually if a person wanted it cancelled.

I still have a ton of updates planned, need to make the program worth buying, so coming up with more pro features while also keeping the cleaner growing on what it can clean.

I could do a lifetime option to the shopping cart, just not sure what would be an appropriate price for that.

While its better not having business partners this time, there is a lot for one person to cover and get right.
Thats why I always love feedback like this.
