Hi I'm new on this Forum so bear with my newbie question.

Just installed PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005 and ran it through the SHIELD UP All Ports Test.
It failed at Ports 137,138,139 and 445 ie Net Bios and MS Direct or something (445).

It passed the DSL Probe Test.

This is at default settings. Am I at risk? Is there any adjustment to be made?

    Thanks o_O

Yes Windows XP. How is it that ZAP passes all at default settings?

    I'm disabling now.

    Thanks.

Zone Alarm Pro and I meant it passes all tests straight out of the box.

BTW PC Cillin still fails the Shields UP tests . Think I'll go back to Zone Alarm. Thanks.

Hi hal9000. I'm using PC-cillin IS 2005 with the firewall enabled. I pass all the tests at GRC including the Sheids Up test. All ports are stealth. Do you have PC-cillin's firewall Security Level set to High? Open PC-cillin>Network Security>highlight you connection>Edit>Security Level>slide the pointer to High. It works for me on my XP Home. Hope that helps.
