I don't know if this is where I should post my problem. I have a password protected file called "system.rar" in C:\Windows folder. My AV(McAfee) says it is clean, but I think this may be a false negative. Have you heard about this file? What should I do?
    thanks

    I don't have a file named this on Windows 7 x64.

Windows 8.1 64-bit here. Nope, no such file exists. It's system.ini instead. RAR is not a native Windows file extension. Also, AVs can't analyze encrypted files. So no matter what scanner you use, it will always report it as clean.

Get rid of it and hope there is nothing else related to it.
