    If i understand it correctly, NTFS-3G is in userspace, using the kernel module FUSE (Filesystem in USErspace).

    All of your arguments are weak, so say the least. One good image of any ntfs/win system is all you ever need. Set things up, image it and you're good. What you really are saying is you're too scared to try it. That's fine. But that doesn't mean it doesn't work fine for most people, most of the time, with little to no "risk".
