    Hi

I've installed Partition Expert Personal Edition Build 278. I am using XP SP2.

I've got a USB drive that I have deleted all the existing partitions, committed, re-booted then tried to create one single partion, but I can't make it a LOGICAL partition. This option is greyed out in the wizzard.

I just want the drive as a data drive, not to be bootable etc.

What am I doing wrong ?

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

The problem is that the disk cannot start with the logical partition. You need to create primary partition first. There is a known problem of 7.8Mb space in the beginning of the disk when it starts with the logical partition. You may read about it here.

    Thank you.
