Partial registry extract from backup image

    I have had to restore my system disk from an old backup copy. However, there are several areas of the registry that I'd like to grab from my latest backup.

    Does anyone have any ideas, please?

    You can "load" a registry file with regedit (File > Load Component) under HKEY_USERS, after this it will allow you to export the keys you need. You then edit the exported file (change the keys) so that you can import it in the proper place in your registry.
