Here is some more info about their content. I wish we had this much content over in Holland. Sure we have got Netflix and Prime Video, but I would like to get access to more classic movies and series. And we don't have streaming access to shows from Comedy Central and MTV at the moment. https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/paramount-plus/movies https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/paramount-plus/tv-shows
Paramount+ will launch in Europe in 2022 A TV network deal was key to making it happen. August 5, 2021 https://www.engadget.com/paramount-plus-europe-launch-145633779.html
I can't wait! BTW, I was checking out some of the streaming services and I was very impressed with Starz, they clearly chose quality over quantity, something that Netflix does not. I can't believe how many of my favorite movies they are offering. https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/starz-play-amazon-channel/movies
T-Mobile Giving Away Paramount Plus Free for One Year to All Customers on Postpaid Plans November 4, 2021 https://variety.com/2021/digital/news/t-mobile-paramount-plus-free-one-year-1235104181/
BTW, strangely enough in many European countries they won't launch Paramount+, instead the will launch it with a different name: SkyShowtime. Very weird decision and the US they will probably merge Paramount+ with Showtime, which does make sense, see first link. https://www.wsj.com/articles/paramo...ging-with-paramount-11663094840?siteid=yhoof2 https://www.pocket-lint.com/tv/news...-service-to-launch-across-europe-20-september
Latest news is that SkyShowtime will launch in Holland on 25 October 2022, but what worries me is that they are only talking about new movies. I hope they will offer lots of older movies from the period 1970-2015. I don't really care about stuff like Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World Dominion and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. https://www.mediaplaynews.com/unive...streaming-service-launches-in-nordics-europe/
