    That is an early adopter component for the Windows 8, which will be included into later products.

    Again, it is free right now, but it is the early adopter program/beta to test the software with the new platform, it will not always be free.

    It looks to be working well.

    Had an issue - but that was because vss was off.

    Interesting the Retention Wizard seems to pick it up fine.

    One of the great things about Paragon - they are often the first with the new ideas.

    Works fine on 7/Vista too.

    No idea about XP.

    This free testing version doesn't have a winpe builder - very simple to make your own - probably easiest to use winre.wim off your HD if you are running 7x86, or use the x86 winpe.wim from WAIK3.

    I have it running in winpe4 created from win8 rtm.

    Working great.:D
