Paragon Free 10 and HDD issue..

Hi,
I have a Paragon Recovery CD stored on USB stick.. when I boot from it everything is fine, but my Seagate Free Agent Pro is not seen, when I want to save an image on it.

I have to start the HDD several times before it is seen and available.

I have the problem expecially with a Sharkoon USB 3.0 controller... which otherwise has no trouble at all..

Why can't Paragon see the HDD as soon as it boots..?

Hello bimbobo,

This may be due to the lack of driver support for USB 3.0 in the Linux environment. If you can test and plug the hard drive to a standard 2.0 USB port instead of the 3.0 controller, and verify we can see it okay.
