It crashes after "Analyzing Partitions..." in the "Initialisierung..."

Any idea what the cause could be?

I am really frustrated with the quality of TI 2009! It is at best "alpha" quality!

    Hello scharf,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Most likely, the fox.dll component was damaged by some recent process in your system. Please uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2009, then reinstall it again (please make sure to reboot after uninstallation process).

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please also make a screenshot of the respective event log entry.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

The problem was solved after I rebooted my system. I did not reboot although windows installed some patches. This might have been the cause of the problem....

Sometimes ATI gets confused and rebooting helps -- kinda reminds one of the days of early windows where one rebooted several times a day just to keep things running.
