panda titanium VS platinum

well, the post i was going to post, i had answered through doing a search.
i also know you get what yoiu pay for, so why i was going to ask if paying for panda is that much better than AVG is beyond me...

so, which is better panda platinum or timanium?? the platinum is more $ i believe/
i have a co-worker whom uses Panda and hass not had a virus in 5 yrs!!!!
i catch the flu once a yr it seems

incidently, i just got my puter back from getting cleaned out and re-installed AVG, then downloaded panda platinum (thought i found the full, but it is trial)
shutdown my AVG control centre than ran my panda
it came up with 1 infected file and disinfected it!!

The detection in titaniun and platinum should be the same. The big difference is the settings capability in platinum. Titanium is basicaly a set and forget av. It works very well but personally I like to have a little more control of an av than titanium allows. If you do like panda it will probably be worth the difference in price if you want the ability to completely configure your av. If that is not a real requirment Titanium will do nicely.
