    has anyone tried the suite on vista if it is infact vista compatible, as their website still states XP and no vista.

    the trial on their website does not install on my vista.

    I have alicense for PAV + Firewall (titanium) and although it should include MegaDetection it does not. You may want to check that again.

    @rayoflight and C.S.J

    Please take a look at this website. The main website announced it later.

    @Technodrome

    Yeah, you are right. Probably thats why the main website doesn't mention MegaDetection even though the french version does. The Platinum version lacks MegaDetection too and the firewall simply refuses to work on my system. I'll try to re-install it again.

    sure it mentions it on a few sites, it does on the UK site too.

    but the trials are still XP/2000 when you try to download them.

    After reading about Panda IS 2007 I decided to use RollbackRX to test it...Took a snapshot before uninstalling KAV and LnS,when installing PIS all AS with guards/shields was by prompt demanded to be uninstalled(Spysweeper,AVG AS ,CS...)The installation was interrupted due to incompatibility,when repeating the installation the install hanged which forced me to restore to a "clean" snapshot made prior to the Panda installation...Then,I uninstalled SS,AVG AS,CS one after another and after this the installation finally went smooth...
    So,now I´m with PIS 2007 and I have to say it seems promising, runs fine and if the protection is good I will consider to keep it...If not I just use RBrx and in seconds I will be back with KAV&LnS/all other AS sw...
    ---------------
    added:
    Began to realize after a while that something was wrong with the fw...no signs of activity whatsoever,no prompting,apps calling home without any hint...Got tired of calibrating and reverted back to KAV/LnS snapshot...

    The problem with Panda for me has always been their very bad sales policy of baiting customers. And I see they're at it again. In the past, they would charge for version upgrades, and while Symantec and McAfee have dropped this policy, Panda has done something else to keep the cash flow coming.

    Back in 2006, they had this offer: Renew your Panda 2006 product now and get the 2007 versions free (i.e. no free upgrade). I thought they had dropped this policy this year when I noticed something this year: Renew your Panda Internet Security 2007 license today and avail of a new backup feature as an additional component of your internet Security product.

    So now they're charging for new features within the EXACT SAME PRODUCT? I call this "baiting" customers and I do not like it at all. It was still OK when they did this only for 2006-->2007 upgrade, but now, tomorrow if they include a new proactive defense or enhanced firewall in Panda Internet Security 2007, then will they say "Renew your license now and get the enhanced firewall/proactive defense free"? All this leads to a huge backlogs of months remaining on your Panda license, and they will probably keep baiting you to renew it again and again. :(
