Panda Internet Security

Anyone using this suite. What are your opinions on it.Happen to know what the firewall is. I heard that it is ZA? Thanks

 

Please correct me if I am wrong. I think Panda uses Sygate firewall

Good. I us a suite now that uses sygate and I like it,so that would be great.How about the virus side of the suite? I have tried the trial version of one awhile back and I liked the interface.

 

I tested out Panda Platinum Internet Security. If it uses Sygate, it certainly uses it in a very hidden way.

It is my opinion that the firewall in Panda Internet Security is home-grown to Panda, and neither Sygate or ZoneAlarm.

 

dear Gigabyte, the AV part is quite good and the firewall part is definately Sygate not ZA. the only thorn is that you can't configure the On-Access scanner to use maximum level of heuristics. so be sure to do a full system scan every week with full heuristics.
