I am looking to replace OneCare on my daughter's laptop with an internet security suite. Thanks to advice in another thread about OpenDNS, I don't need parental controls. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the 2009 version of Panda Global Protection or with Bullguard 8.5. I want good antivirus and antispyware protection, but I also want a firewall that will not constantly ask permission in connection with well-known applications. Any thoughts?

Panda worked fine for me. No firewall alerts. Drop Bullguard and go with Panda AntiVirus. Personal Firewalls aren't necessary.
