Panda AV Pro 2010 - What's Wrong With This Picture?

    I was installing Panda AV Pro 2010 to check it out and during the install a scanner came up, well just check out the taskbar in the screenshot link below and tell me what you see? :eek:

    LOL, is this for real? (Remember I said I installed Panda)

    I think you deinstalled Avira a few days ago. Avira registry keys are harder to remove than nasty malware :doubt:

    I think it's just your icon cache messed up. Often happens if you install/uninstall a lot of applications.

    Try running the Avira Registry Cleaner Tool, it might remove that icon cache on your system.

    I have seen icon caches before that got corrupted like this.

    One time on my WinXP, Windows Update icon was displaying as my Realtek Sound Manager.

    Also might try reading this thread about how CCleaner can cleanup your tray notification cache.
