Paid but still have trial version nag screen

    I went to the official Acronis site from my trial version via the buy now button and paid for the software. Since there seems to be no way of entering the serial number into my trial version I clicked their download button on the thank you for purchase page and ran the software to update/repair an installation. Unfortunately when I fire up the software I seem to be stuck with the trial version still. Advice will be greatly appreciated.

    I had the same problem you did, and thus found out that you have to remove the trial version, and then install the purchased version. The purchased version will prompt you for a serial number. Acronis says you can cut and paste it from the purchase e-mail, but I found that not to be true.

    Thanks but how do I download it again -- I can only find the trial version to download. I have tried registering myself but the forms don't work and I have also done what you did and registered the software with Acronis but that doesn't get me anywhere.

    Click on My Account and at the top right corner of Acronis Home page.

    Register for an account with them in order to download new programs or product updates. The trial software is just a working demo to prevent people from prevent stealing. :D
