Given: - PC with two 80 GB S-ATA HDDs and Windows 2000 SP4 - each HDD has a primary and an extended partition with one logical drive (HDD0: C:, D:; CD-ROM: E; HDD1: F:, G Done: - created an image (with TI from HDD0 C: to test.tib on HDD1 G: - restored that image to HDD1: F and set F: active - shutdown - pulled out HDD0 from first S-ATA port - put HDD1 to first S-ATA port - power on Problem: Windows won't comes to logon screen, but I can't get past this screen, because pagefile.sys is missing or to small. I checked the boot partition from recovery console and it didn't show a pagefile.sys! Why? I connected over network and the EventSystem errors: Can't find path. Where is the problem with this usual configuration? EDIT1: Btw: FIXBOOT, FIXMBR didn't help either. EDIT2: I have the same problem with Disk Director Suite. I doesn't copy pagefile.sys and Windows goes crazy.
