    This is a bit weird news to me. When I search for stuff I almost always click on at least one search result, otherwise what's the point?

    Sometimes you get enough information just by searching, without following any additional link.

    yep, it is.
    in special on android the result offers enough text in most cases hat i dont need to click further.
    on my desktop i also use a redirect remover for google, so their counter wont measure my clicks in most cases.
    plus adblocker means no advertised results.

    true, but i doubt it that no-clicks searches make 50% of it all. so these stats seem pretty weird.
    i suspect that most of those no-clicks searches are done by bots for seo purposes
