zfactor - To be honest, I have not given Netveda much of a workout. There are others in the forum here more qualified to answer on that one. I sent them a question tonight about a logging issue, so we'll see how their support is.

Outpost Pro is very nice. In the end, nobody else can decide which is best for you. You pretty much need to try them yourself and decide. If you hear a lot of bad things about any one firewall then you might beware, but you're likely to get as many opinions as there are people in the forum here. :)

    Zfactor,

NetVeda is amazingly good and for a free program, offers immense amount of features. From setting access rules for LAN, content filtering, inbound and outbound rights to many more including full support for Gateway machine running Proxy, Router or ICS. Also has unsafe email attachment quarantine feature like Zone Alarm Pro, amazingly for all this offered, it is truly light on resources. It load factor is truly dynamic, for a Gateway ICS enabled machine, it is consuming 6mb of resources, load is factored with features and number of computers on your LAN using your Gateway.

    Try it out at www.netveda.com
