Outpost Pro or Look'n'Stop

    Hi can you please explain to me which of these firewalls is the better choice especially in terms of effectiveness?

    The best firewall is the one YOU feel the most comfortable with

    both are good rules-based firewalls and i would recommend either.

    what do u mean by effective and what do u look for in a firewall?

    Effectiveness can mean a few things...

    Security wise Outpost is easier to configure to be extremely secure. It also provides better outbound application filtering.

    and

    Look 'n' Stop is lighter on system resources and is only slightly more time constraining to customize.

    also

    Even though L'n'S is more lightweight, Outpost works better with applications using extremely high numbers of network connections, such as P2P software.
