I have a new laptop computer with win 7, 32 bit OS.
The only two bits of security software installed are Avast 5 trial version and Outpost Pro in fact I am not even using it yet so there are no other programmes installed. Everything was ok until I installed Outpost and then my internet connection simply timed out. Turn off Outpost and all is well again.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you deal with it. The laptop is set up as part of a network if that makes a difference.
I have been using Outpost on a m/c with XP installed and it has been perfect, but for some reason it just blocks my internet connection in W7. The windows firewall is switched off by the way. I have uninstalled and reinstalled just to see if made a difference but it is still the same.
Something else that may or may not be relevant, I switched on Outpost while connected to a forum and was able to navigate from page to page but not away from the forum until Outpost was switched off. Also tried Firefox but just the same.
    Any help would be appreciated.

The thread still says Online Armour . Get the heading straight and people familiar with Outpost might step in and help . Just so I understand ..... it is Outpost that is blocking correct ?

I have changed the heading, see my first post, however, it doesn't seem to change the heading in the short form listing of threads and there doesn't seem anyway of deleting the whole thing and starting again!

    Paul .
I am guessing you are using the latest version of Outpost . That being said , you may want to try to find an earlier version . The 6.7 that is out currently has caused many problems INCLUDING what is happening with you . Try to find 6.5 and try that . Also , please go to the Outpost Forum , if you have not already done so , and ask there . Might be something as simple as a rule change .
