Outpost "auto" update

    This might have been discussed before, but I guess I'm just venting.

    Don't get me wrong, I love Outpost and it's by far the best firewall in my opinion but why in the world do they have an automatic update button.

    I know that they say they turn it off so not to overload the servers, but I think that is asinine at best. That is ridiculous.

    I'm not going to do a manual update... I've recorded the time when I first saw outpost 3 came out and am going to see how long it takes before the automatic update button works. I'll post my results.

    Outpost with it's year renewal charges should provide a decent server to handle the load. Since we are paying for it...

    Just my thoughts and please chime...

    Also I have 192 days left on my subscription so lets hope they can hadle the "load" before then...

    Agreed. Why else even HAVE an auto-update feature if not to update when the update comes out? Seems silly the way it's handled now...
