Good afternoon, im experiencing mass login attempts on my Outlook account. None of them have been able to access, i also have double authentication access implemented, so even if they enter the password, they will not be able to access.

I understand that they will be doing brute force attacks to see if they can break the password.
The attempts are from different countries, Vietnam, Bangladesh, USA, Germany...

These attempts have been going on for a month (at least that's as far as Outlook shows).
Is there any way to block IPs or something similar?
    Thank you.

Disable login with your outlook email, at least temporarily. I have disabled it permanently for this reason alone, nobody knowing my email can login. You need to an alternative email first.
    Code:

    https://account.live.com/SignInPreferences?amru=names%2FManage

Good afternoon, in that case would i have to log in with another email and the password for that email?
I have also thought that another option is to activate an account without a password and that the start must be done with Authenticator. Thanks

Just another email, but the same password.

Using passwordless option basically eliminates 2FA, I personally do not like it. Also password can be used as a backup. MS had a few outages when passwordless option did not work for hours while password did.

Good afternoon. I have been talking to Microsoft and the only alternative they give is to set an alias, so that may be the only option if i want to prevent login attempts.
    Thanks for your help.
