We do not have any data for your browser, so we can’t give your browser a score.

I got 2.5/4 using Chrome 14 (latest stable) perhaps because I've turned off the safe browsing stuff.

It doesn't test your browser real time lol. It only shows you the results which avaible in their database.

While the website could be seen as useful for learning about security techniques or URL blocking statistics (it's crazy how fast the attacks blocked counter is going up), it isn't much more than marketing IE9.

It tests for stuff like whether or not they check for file integrity etc... it's not a great indicator lol

Most security benchmarks aren't goo great.

Well, IE8 got a fairly respectable 3/4. OK, we get it MS ... IE9 is the safest browser out of the box. ;)

Yes, it seems to be just good old browser sniffing. Read somewhere about someone using the Opera tweak to mask as IE and getting 4/4.

I guess this falls in the category of, "for those who believe, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, no explanation is possible".

I wonder, why the most webpages talk about outdated browsers, when it is about security features of browsers. The newest version does not guarantee the top score.
