Apparently, this has been going on for awhile. I never checked the HIPS log so I never noticed it. It seems that every 3 seconds the following is showing up in the log:

7/26/2012 12:00:44 PM C:\Program Files (x86)\DELL\Dell KM632 Wireless Keyboard Caps Lock Indicator\OSDSrv.exe Get access to another application C:\Windows\System32\winlogon.exe some access blocked SelfDefense: Do not allow modification of system processes Terminate/suspend another application,Modify state of another application

Is this something to worry about?

    Thanks,
    Rick

That looks benign. I would allow it

Make sure that you don't keep logging of blocked operations enabled permanently. Otherwise your logs may grow a lot and take up a lot of disk space. This logging serves for debugging purposes and should not be enabled longer than necessary.
