Having just put together a new computer with a 120g ssd and 2 1Tb drives, I proceeded with a fresh install of Win7 pro. Tried to migrate files from old pc to learn file size to large. So reinstalled windows to one of the Tb drives, and looked at other forum about using a utility to do the heavy work for me. So purchased OS-SSD in the hopes to make like easy. Unfortunately, my primary drive is E, secondary F, and SSD G. OS-SS doesn't find C and aborts immediately. Any thoughts? I7 4790 k Win 7 Pro Asus Z87 Pro MB 32 g of Patriot viper ram
I'd move all data from old pc to 2 1tb drives. Data is now removed from old pc. Disconnect 2 1tb HDD when migrating OS to 120GB SSD. You need software that will restore to different hardware.
