I have a problem with booting win98 from acronis os selector with a win xp partition present on the drive.

I installed Win XP, then Acronis Disk Director Suite. I partitioned the NTFS drive into a total of 2 NTFS (one with the XP install), and created a third partition, FAT32. Booting from CD via BIOS, I then installed win98. This was successful.

Problems arise when I attempt to boot win 98 via OS Selector. I get a two line warning, a windows protection fault, stating that there are problems with NDIS, and a restart is required.

I believe this is something basic that I've done wrong, as I've had this problem with installation on an 'incorrect file system formatted drive' before.

    What have I done wrong?

    TIA

Thought it was something basic (was using Win 98 1st Ed).

    All working now.
