Even if I'm not a fan of Melih's I'm larger than life ego
I must admit CIS has come a long way from an almost
unusable hard core FW/HIPS to a user friendly suite without loosing efficiency in the process.

Wow Malwarebytes are really blowing up for a small company.

Epic break through into an already saturated AV market :D

Probably because of the lifetime license and with the discounts you can get it for 10€

To see a description of the data collection and its limitations, see the data collection section of this report.

Considering that, just to mention one, Kaspersky alone has 300 million users and 250.000 companies a sample of 5000 users by this survey is, to say the least, not even near to be representative. So, conclusions that can be drawn out of this can be at best anecdotic.

    Hello,

While it is nice to see a report that says ESET has a larger marketshare than Symantec and McAfee combined, I always like to take these reports with a grain of salt.

    Regards,

You've highlighted a gross anomaly but it does well illustrate the OPSWAT-centric nature of this survey.

Qihoo have about 450 million Chinese version users, mainly inside China itself. I wonder how many of them also have OPSWAT 'GEARS' or 'Security Scan Tool' installed?
